Dark Side of the Moon from CannaWhlesalers is one hell of a visually impressive strain, with a fruity scent and hash like flavor. The tapered buds are a pale shade of sea green, with many phenotypes showing varying degrees of purple in the flowers with a nice coating of cloudy white trichomes and orange hairs.
Named after Pink Floyd’s insanely popular and unique album “Dark Side of the Moon” released in 1973. This strain’s approach is very similar in design, it combines all the greatness and essence with complex standout characteristics that made this strain soo popular with medicinal and recreational users alike.
This Dark Side of the Moon strain review was an absolute joy to write because of the strain’s unique aromas, flavors, and potency. CannaWholesalers Dark Side of the Moon THC content came in at 21 to 25% and turned out to be a sensory altering and pain relieving treat that was a true pleasure to smoke and vape.
As previously mentioned, Dark Side of the Moon from CannaWholesalers is one hell of an impressive strain. It has some serious bag appeal with even more serious aromas and flavor. The high from Dark Side of the Moon crept in and intensified as time passed slowly. The sounds of nature were pristine and perfectly honed in such a way that my sensory perception seemed to be superhuman, I love it when that happens!
No I didn’t play Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon while stoned on the strain, although I wanted to, I actually have mostly everything Pink Floyd ever recorded. This trippy strain got me in sync with my senses and led me outside down by the river for a relaxing chill session while the tubers floated by. It also provided some very effective pain and inflammation relief that helped inspire me to get outdoors.
The strain is also very relaxing, those with sleeping issues will benefit nicely. Roll one up or hit the vape an hour before bed time and a good night’s sleep awaits you.
RATINGS: Appearance, Fragrance, Flavors, Performance
- Bud Size: 8/10 Medium to large.
- Bag Appeal: 9/10 A colorful display of crystal coated nugs that were dense and trimmed tight.
- Cure & Humidity: 8/10 The buds were fresh and dank.
- Smell: 8/10 Woody, slightly fruity, spicy (hash like). When busting the nugs up, the aromas intensified with a hint of diesel.
- Taste: 9/10 It’s a taste sensation for the mouth that resembled the taste of hash but with an earthy fruity undertone.
- Buzz Quality: 10/10 Intense deep and trippy stone that plays on your senses. More of an Indica type buzz.
- Harshness vs Smoothness: Leaning towards the smoothness side, had creamy earthy rich exhales that tingled the senses.
Note: Make sure to have plenty of your favorite beverages on hand, Dark Side of the Moon gives you some dry mouth, or “Pasties” as I like to call it.
